Cooking Rings – Make Meals Beautifully Appealing

Now that the new year has already come, what were your New Year’s resolutions this year? To lose weight (again), to stop smoking, to start eating more healthily, to find a way to make the food more appealing for the people around the table?

Mine was to continue searching for different recipes and ways to make my picky eater accept more food and eat at least something at every meal.

Because my special-needs kid struggles with food and he has always been like that, I started to look for tools that could help me at least make the food more visually appealing and if I could tempt him to try it. Because of my New Year’s resolution I bought these cooking rings.

Have you used cooking rings before? To cook your eggs in a specific shape or to stack a tower of yummy vegetables?

I have always wanted to have cooking rings and use them, but never had until now. And the first thing I’ve used them for is to prepare small cakes, because my little one gets overwhelmed if there is too much food in front of him and is more willing to eat if the portions are smaller. My family and I like eating vegetables and salads a lot. But a salad sometimes may look messy. I like to prepare different marinated or baked vegetables stacked like a tower as a side-dish as well. To get the desired shape I use my cooking rings. It is very easy to use them – just place them on a plate and start adding the desired ingredients (vegetables, rice, cake layers, etc.) and leave it in the fridge for an hour or two to keep the shape when you remove the rings. Just that.

I think the cooking rings are a useful tool that would help you create beautiful and appealing portions of food for the people you love to enjoy.

  • the set comes with 4 cooking rings and a pusher, helps you easily use it when you need it

  • can use in the oven or in the fridge

  • you can prepare numerous beautiful and delicious dishes – rosti, mousses, cheesecakes, layered desserts, salads, vegetable towers, mini rice cakes, fried eggs, etc.

  • very easy to use

  • easy to clean, dishwasher safe

  • helps you serve the desired dish appealingly for the whole family

  • I still haven’t found anything that I don’t like about these cooking rings, but if you had used them before and can think of something, share your experience, just let me know by leaving a comment below

I believe that food should be appealing to look at, not only extremely delicious. And I try to achieve that when I serve the food on the table. Of course, it is not always possible to get the look that you want, but when you do, you feel better, because you achieve something, and your loved ones enjoy the food more. In my case, I try to make food beautiful not only for the sake of us eating it, but because my special-needs kid is influenced a lot by the look of the food on the table. If it is something he doesn’t find nice-looking and appealing, he would never even go near it, what about trying it.

I think the cooking rings have a lot of applications and you can use them for a lot of things in the kitchen. I most often shape my salads or side-dishes and also my desserts. I make a lot of small desserts or I bake a cake layer and then cut it and stack it using the cooking rings. This way I get individual cakes for anyone to enjoy. All I have to do is to not forget to get them out of the rings and serve them.

I should say that, although I only had these cooking rings for less than a week now, I already used them many, many times. I served different salads and side-dishes, I shaped desserts, I served starters, etc. And I am sure I would continue using them often.

Hope this review will give you some ideas how you can use this product and you will get in touch with me and will share your ideas how to serve appealing food.

My verdict: I like when food is not only delicious, but beautiful as well. You can achieve the same effect as well

I love when food is beautiful. I then like to eat slowly and savour each and every bite. It is maybe because I do not want to destroy this gorgeous creation or it might be simply because I put some effort and find it disappointing to just dig in without at least admire it for a few seconds. But I love when my family likes the food plated in front of them and they start eating it immediately.

Now that the weather is really cold and the season asks for more hot meals, I would use my cooking rings to serve more and more vegetable towers, made by different baked vegetables – potatoes, aubergines/eggplants, peppers, mushrooms, onions, etc. I am sure the cooking rings would be really helpful in the kitchen to help me prepare the dishes the way I imagine them to look – appealing, colourful, yummy.

I would definitely recommend these cooking rings to anyone who likes to serve beautifully looking food, to anyone who likes different ways of serving the food, to anyone who likes salads and side-dishes to be placed neatly on the plate, to anyone who likes to make food appealing for the people around the table.

Hope you give them a try!

Hope you enjoyed my review and if you have already used cooking rings share with me your experience – what do you most often use them for, do you find them easy to use, how often do you use them, etc. Get in touch with me, just leave a comment below.

Have a lovely day.
