Do you miss the summer in those cold and short winter days?
One of the things I love about summer time, when weather is usually hot and sunny, is the enjoyable treat of having some ice-cream.
Today, I am presenting to you a very easy and, I hope, healthy recipe to prepare ice-cream in no time at all and enjoy with your loved ones in the warmth of your home.
My little one doesn’t like eating fruit, but he loves ice-cream. Making this easy cheat ice-cream, using only fruit, allows me to give him fruit without him thinking that he should eat as it is healthy for him, but because it is delicious.
This ice-cream can be served on its own or together with your favourite cake.
Healthy Fruity Ice-Cream
frozen fruit, any
I usually use frozen bananas (sliced in rings and frozen), berries, pears.
ice-cream decorations – whipped cream, glace cherries, chocolate curls, hundred and thousands sprinkles
Note that I don’t give specific amounts, because it all depends on your personal taste and desire how much to make 🙂
Just blend the frozen banana pieces, put in a cup and decorate
Other fruit ice-cream:
Blend the frozen fruit in the kitchen blender, add some yoghurt and blend again
How much yoghurt you use depends on how much fruit you blended, how runny you want your ice-cream and how much you like yoghurt.
I usually put about 300gr yoghurt when I use about 500gr frozen fruit
Add some yoghurt for sweetness, put in an ice-cream cup, decorate
