Easiest And Quickest Pizza For Dinner – Flat-bread Pizza

My little ones just adore pizza. Although we, the adults, also like to have pizza for dinner, I don’t serve it too often. But, because I had one flat-bred left in the fridge and didn’t want to leave it for too long, I decided to use it and transform it to a pizza with all the toppings my family likes.

I present one extremely easy to make, quick and delicious recipe to make a pizza for meal and treat your loved ones with a dish that I am sure almost everyone likes.

I used for the topping only things that I already had in the fridge, but you can add whatever you prefer to have – ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, different cheeses, different salami, red onion, olives, etc.

Note that because I am using a flavoured flat-bread (tomato and cheese), I decided not to put tomato sauce on the base. If you would like, you can add some tomato-based pizza topping sauce and arrange the other ingredients on top. Just don’t add too much wet ingredients (like tomatoes, sauce) so that to be able when you cut the pizza to have all the toppings still on your slice.

Have a yummy meal with the people you love!

Flat-bread Pizza  Flatbread pizza

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 1 flavoured flatbread (cheese and garlic, tomato and garlic, cheese and tomato, garlic and parsley, or other flavour you like)

  • 100gr grated cheddar cheese

  • 100gr grated mozzarella cheese

  • 50-70gr pepperoni slices

  • 50gr ham

  1. Lay the flatbread on a grease-proof paper and put on a baking tray

  2. Arrange the meat topping all over the base

  3. Mix the two grated cheeses and scatter all over the pizza

  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 200°C in the over or until the cheese has melted

Serve with a fresh salad of your choice. I usually prepare green salad or a salad with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, olives and feta cheese.

Don’t forget to tell me what your favourite pizza toppings are. I would love to try something new and maybe unusual. Just leave a comment below.

All the best!

    Hi Ellie,
Love the fact that you use flat bread! It’s simple and it works really great as a crust. I use flat bread, but never the entire bag so this recipe is great to use them. Who’s doesn’t like pizza either? As an engineering student, I don’t have a lot of time to bake and these flat bread save me a lot of time. Great paper!

    Hi Ellie,
I love this recipe. I often find myself throwing out old bread, and this will definitely be a game changer for my old bread, 🙂
What kind of tomato sauce should I use in your opinion? Since I do not really like flavoured bread I suppose I should add sauce on top of it.

Hi Adam, I am happy you found something you would like to try.

When you need a sauce you can use the ready-made pizza topping sauces (they are usually tomato-based and come in different flavours – garlic, hebs being the most common) or you can make one yourself (use fresh tomatoes or tomatoes from a can, garlic, onion or red onion, oregano, salt and pepper).

I sometimes use tomato puree as well when I am in a hurry – it is very delicious, it’s not liquid and you can spread it easily on the bread you are using.

      Have a lovely day,
