I continue with the egg theme :-). My family really got crazy with wanting eggs – scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, egg sandwich filler, eggs in salads, and it continues.
I have always kept eggs just in case when I needed to do something or bake a cake, but now I know that eggs are really good for the health, I usually keep between 12-15 and use them regularly.
But I also like my kitchen to be tidy and well-organised. I can’t stand if I can’t find something quickly, especially when I need it in a hurry.
That is why I am presenting today one very useful accessory – egg holder, that would help you store your eggs, have them in handy, add something beautiful and even arty to your kitchen (decorations).

EGG HOLDER PRODUCT DESCRIPTION – PROs & CONs
The egg holder is an accessory that would be very helpful to any cook – amateur or a chef, because everyone needs eggs to prepare their dishes. Sooner or later you will need to reach out for an egg and the egg holder could be there to help you know which eggs are the freshest and, also, not chase the eggs around the table when preparing the ingredients.
I firmly believe that when the kitchen is clean, without too much mess and well-organised, it helps cooks, even if you are trying a recipe for the first time, to stay focused and give everything they can and achieve better results.
Because handling eggs can be tricky, they have the tendency to roll out unexpectedly and very often smash on the floor, the egg holder can be helpful in tackling that.
The egg holder is a product that comes in many different forms, you just need to find the one that best suits your needs and your style.
Egg holders usually store between 15 and 20 eggs, so they are suitable for any family. Even larger families probably don’t have more eggs than that all at the same time, mostly because eggs is better not to keep them for too long before using.
It is very easy to use this accessory. You just need to reach and grab the next egg sitting there, waiting to be of use in preparing the next delicious meal.
The egg holder definitely helps you save space as well. It is organised as a helter-skelter roller and helps you store up to 18 eggs and does not take more room than putting one plate on the board (the base is 17.5cm in diameter).
The egg holder has a steady iron construction, but be sure to keep it clean so that to expand the product life.
Sometimes, especially if you buy large or extra-large eggs, the egg holder might not be able to accommodate them.
Keep it out of reach of children, to save the mess and not hurting themselves.
MAKE YOUR KITCHEN EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL AND ADD SOME ART SENSE TO IT WITH THE HELP OF A STYLISH EGG HOLDER
Like you all already know my family likes eggs, but I, as the main cook, mother to two very naughty toddlers and a person who really, really hates the mess, I should say that finding the egg holder was the moment when I knew a lot of nerves could be saved.
First I thought I would get a themed-shaped egg holder (a chicken), but then I remembered that my kids will soon be over the age when such things interest them or even to help in the kitchen, so I decided to get something for me.
The helter-skelter roller egg holder is beautifully made, looks like a piece of art (because of its shape and because it has a metal finish look) and it really complements the kitchen.
I thought, at first, that I would be bothered about seeing the eggs on the kitchen board and would always start searching for a place to store them. But that is not the case, they look like a gorgeous string of (big) pearls and the best part – I always know which egg I need to use next. I always start with the ones that’ve been at home the longest so that not to get to a point where I’ve used all the fresh eggs, but forgot one or two and they got rot and smelly, yuk.
You can even use this product to lighten the mood and involve your loved ones in food preparation. I use the egg holder as a fun accessory in the kitchen as well. When I prepare the eggs to be cooked, I ask my little ones to come and see how the eggs roll. It always makes them laugh and we repeat that fun until we have enough eggs for cooking the recipe we are doing at the moment.
If you and your loved ones really like eggs or you use eggs often when you are cooking, preparing delicious meals and baking, then I am sure you would appreciate how helpful the egg holder can be in the kitchen.
My verdict: I LOVE WHEN EVERYTHING IS WELL ORGANISED IN THE KITCHEN AND THERE IS NO MESS
I like when everything has its own place (not only in the kitchen, but in every room), when everything’s in their own place so that you can be sure next time you need it you would find it there, when there is no mess and everything’s handy.
I admit that all of that is not always easy to achieve with a couple of small kids (and I have only two), but I try. That is why I would recommend the egg holder to anyone who has already introduced those so good for your health eggs into their diet, to anyone who likes to make their kitchen at least a little bit clutter free, to anyone who likes to keep track which are the freshest ingredients at home, to anyone who wants to free some space in the fridge and get the eggs they need when cooking ready for use at room temperature.
If you got fed up with storing your eggs on this rack, you can always use it to store or display other things as well, in the kitchen or during a party – tomatoes, clementines, cupcakes, pastries, etc.
I hope you liked my review and if you think the egg holder could be an useful thing (or not) in the kitchen, have any questions or suggestions, just leave a comment below.
Have a lovely day!
