You know I love the Italian cuisine. And lasagne is one of my family’s favourite dish. You can add different vegetables and sauces to make the meal even more yummy and to suit better your family’s preferences.
Now that the holidays have passed away and because everyone at home is feeling a little bit tired, I made one very easy to make dish with store-bought, ready-made sauces.
I would always say that it is better if you could prepare everything you need for cooking any dish from scratch at home, but even I realise that there are only 24 hours in a day and I need to be able to do something fast.
I am presenting a recipe for lasagne with ready-made sauces. I know that is not something new for you, but I would show you my version. This recipe was very, very easy to make, it was extremely delicious and I was able to feed my family without spending almost any time in the kitchen.
Not to mention, I made a tray of lasagne that could easily feed the whole family (maybe even more than once – depending how hungry you were) for less than £5.
1 pack lasagne sheets, uncooked
1 jar (500gr) ready-made Carbonara sauce
1 jar (500gr) ready-made Tomato and Mushroom pasta sauce
200gr grated cheddar cheese
100gr Stilton cheese (optional), cut in slices or pieces
In the tray arrange some lasagne sheets and cover first with some of the tomato and mushroom sauce, then add from the Carbonara sauce. Arrange slices from the Stilton cheese, make sure to evenly distribute the cheese. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese
Repeat the same until you run out of sauce and cheese, finishing with grated cheddar cheese
Bake at 200ºC for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbling
Enjoy this easy and super delicious meal. I served it with fresh salad.
I would love to hear the lasagne recipe you most enjoy, just leave a comment below.
Have a yummy day!
