I love marinated ribs, cooked in the oven. It’s a dish you can have both in the summer when the weather is hot and you crave barbecue or in the winter, in the long evenings when you need something extra yummy to satisfy your hunger after the long day at the office.
I should admit that it took me a very long time to even attempt cooking pork ribs. Mainly, because the ones you buy from the shop are so easy to prepare and so delicate in texture, I was afraid mine would not achieve that deliciousness.
Recently, I tried cooking ribs again and this time they were amazing. Cooking ribs was not at all hard and the dish was yummy.
Today, I am presenting my recipe for the marinated ribs I made. It’s very easy to make, you just add the seasoning you like and have to have the patience to wait for the meat to marinate.
I liked the ribs cooked that way, because the meat was very tender and the taste was so succulent – the seasoning added flavours and sweetness to the meat.
Try this recipe yourself and you may love it too.
Marinated ribs in the oven
rack of mini pork ribs, about 0,750kg
salt, pepper, smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
2tbsp olive oil
4tbsp soy sauce
4-5tbsp BBQ sauce
In a bowl, add all the seasoning, oil, sauces and mustard, stir well
Spread the paste over the ribs, put them in a tray and leave in the fridge to marinate at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight
Bake in the oven at 200°C for 60 minutes or until ready
Serve with chips, baked or mashed potatoes and fresh salad.
I like marinated ribs and I am sure this recipe I would make again very soon.
