Pasta with Red Pesto and Tuna – Satiating And Delicious

I’ve always liked preparing different recipes with pasta. There are millions and millions of delicious recipes you can make that combine only the ingredients you and your loved ones like.

I was searching for a quick and easy to make one yesterday, mainly because I had some pasta, boiled and left from the previous day, and I found the Tuna and red pesto pasta recipe by GoodToKnow site, click here to see it.

Pasta with Red Pesto and Tuna  

Ingredients (3-4 servings):

  • 250-300gr tricolore fusilli pasta

  • 1 small jar (about 200gr) red pesto

  • 1 can tuna chunks

  • 100gr black olives, pitted and cut in rings

  • 3-4tbsp oil from a jar of sun-dried tomatoes

  • salt and pepper

  • 2-3tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)


  1. Boil the pasta according to the pack instructions or use left-over pasta

  2. In a large pot put the pasta, red pesto, flaked tuna chunks and olives and return to the hot-plate until well heated, for a few minutes stirring constantly

  3. Season with salt and black pepper and add the oil, mix

Serve with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top if you want and fresh salad.
