Potato Wedges With Herbs And Parmesan – Quick, Easy And Delicious

I very often use potatoes when cooking. My little one especially likes chips, but because even he can not eat only and always only chips, I try to prepare potatoes in different ways and use them in different dishes so that still to have them, but not get fed up with the taste.

Today I am presenting one very easy recipe how to make potato wedges flavoured with your favourite seasoning and have them easily and quickly.

For this recipe I’ve used the most common seasoning – salt, pepper, paprika, parsley. You can use any other condiments you prefer with your chips, I just wanted more plain flavours so that my little ones could enjoy, but be delicious enough for the adults as well.

This recipe is suitable both for the kids and also for the adults to enjoy in the long lazy summer evenings together with your favourite cold drink. My husband chooses beer always.

My tip would be – do not put too much oil, just enough to stick the seasoning and grated cheese to the potatoes, but do not drench the wedges in oil or have them wet before that, because then the seasoning will fall off and you will have baked potatoes with burnt seasoning all over the tray.

Make it simple and enjoy your time with your loved ones.

Potato Wedges with Herbs and Parmesan

  • 5-6 potatoes, cut in wedges

  • 2-3tbsp oil

  • seasoning – salt, pepper, parsley, paprika

  • 5-6tbsp grated parmesan

  1. Line a tray with grease-proof paper and spread the wedges evenly, not one over the other

  2. Add the oil and roll the wedges in it

  3. Sprinkle the seasoning and parmesan over the wedges. Use your hands and roll the wedges in the seasoning

  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 190-200°C or until baked and crispy

Enjoy as a main dish with beer or as a side dish. Serve with or without salad.
