Tefal Frying Pans – Divers Cooking

I know many of you probably use the product I want to talk about today. Some of you maybe happy with it, some might be disappointed. All depends on the results we all expect and how easy it is to be used by non-professional cooks like us.

Today I am presenting the last kitchen utensil I bought a few months ago – the 24cm and 28cm Tefal Frying Pan set. Before that I’ve had the Tefal pancake pan and it makes the pancake making really easy. That is why I thought I would facilitate my cooking by having another pan, a little bit deeper so that to be of help when I cook meals, stir-fries, omelettes, etc.

TEFAL FRYING PAN PRODUCT REVIEW – PROs AND CONs

I’ve always liked the Tefal frying pans, ever since I’ve bought my Tefal pancake pan maybe more than 10 years ago. I just never had the courage to try the bigger pans and help myself a little bit in the kitchen.

The 24cm and 28cm Tefal Frying pans are a perfect addition to our household. I like that you can prepare the whole meal in the pan, saving on cooking time and on cleaning later.

I mostly use these pans to cook meals with sauces or for preparing delicious stir-fries, all in one go. But I’ve used it also to prepare breakfasts (scramble eggs, omelettes, etc.) or desserts (different fried pastries). I’ve even used it to make special kind of home-made bread. Yumm!

PROs:

  • very easy to use

  • you need no or almost no oil to cook (depending on what you are preparing)

  • no burning

  • extremely easy to clean, dishwasher save

  • can use on gas and electric hobs

  • heat indicator to tell you when ready for use

CONs:

  • never use metal utensils when cooking and turning/scooping food out of the frying pan

  • no matter how easy it is to cook using this pan, still be careful when around the hotplate

  • they might seem a little bit costly, but they make cooking so easy

EASY MEALS WITH EASY CLEANING UP AFTERWARDS

Cooking with the Tefal Frying Pans is easy not only because the pan helps you prepare the food the way you like it, but also because it is so beautiful I sometimes serve the ready dishes with the pan and everyone is happy to put as much as they like in their plates.

I admit that one of the worst things of the whole process of cooking is the tidying and cleaning up after you finish. To take away all the plates and then to wash them – it takes time and energy that everyone would agree could be spent doing more pleasant things.

That is why I just love these frying pans. Cleaning them is a breeze. There is no burnt food stuck, there is no scratching. Just use the sponge and some hot water and you are ready to use them again.

I like Chinese food and especially chow mein – their rice noodles. But I would rather have them made at home to be sure that I use only the vegetables my family prefers and to try and use less oil. You can check out the recipe I tried the first time I’ve used my frying pans, see below.

Easy Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut in small pieces

  • 250gr mushrooms, cut in slices

  • a bunch of spring onion, cut in pieces

  • 300gr rice noodles

  • 3-4tbsp olive oil

  • soy sauce

  • black pepper

Preparation:

  1. Soak the rice noodles in boiling water, according to the pack instructions

  2. Meanwhile, put the olive oil in the frying pan and heat. Add the chicken breast pieces, spring onion and mushrooms and fry until the meat is ready

  3. Drain the noodles and add to the frying pan, season with the soy sauce and black pepper. Keep stirring until everything is well heated and flavoured

Plate and serve. Enjoy!

Optional:

  • you can add different vegetables as well – peppers, carrots, broccoli, etc.

  • if you prefer your noodles more crispier, add a little bit of oil before putting them in the frying pan and fry

My verdict: Prepare Food Easily, Enjoy Your Meal Times

I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, always trying new things. But I hate when I have a big stack of plates and pans waiting to be washed at the end of all the fun. That is why I sometimes try to use as little and as few utensils and containers as possible. That is not always possible, but still I try.

That is why I like the Tefal Frying Pans. I don’t need anything else but the pan and a kitchen cutting board to cut the ingredients I would need for the recipe I am preparing. Easy.

I would recommend this set of frying pans to anyone who likes cooking, but doesn’t have much experience in the kitchen, to anyone who has a great experience and would enjoy to be able to do things even easier than ever thought, to anyone who is fed up with washing up, to anyone.

I think that after you try these very helpful frying pans you might decide to clear your kitchen from the ones you’ve used before. That is what I did.
