I like everything with cheese, every recipe that calls for cheese to be used is a winner with me. I like different kinds of cheese, including all the smelly ones :-), but I most often cook with mozzarella or cheddar cheese. These cheeses are very easy to find, are not expensive and one of the most important things, when it comes to my family and my fussy eater, they do not have a very strong smell or taste.
Today I suggest you try this very easy and quick recipe and make delicious snacks or side-dish for the people you love. You don’t need a lot of things – just some tortillas and cheese. Everything else you add would be according to your taste. I, personally, added only a couple of spring onions, cut in small pieces, but use your imagination and add the things you like to have with cheese and bread – cooked and shredded meat, different vegetables, seasoning, etc.
Tortilla Cheesy Bread
Ingredients (for 4 people):
150-200gr grated cheddar cheese
4-5 spring onions, cut in small pieces
butter – to grease the frying pan
In a deep frying pan, grease the bottom and add the tortilla bread
Sprinkle some cheddar cheese and spring onion on top, make sure there is some everywhere on the tortilla
When the tortilla starts to brown, turn half of the tortilla and cover with it the other half. Press for a few seconds
Get out of the pan and cut the semi-circle in 4 wedges. Serve hot or cold.
Enjoy as a snack or as a bread to accompany your main dish.
